See your whole supply chain — and what happens next.
Real-time analytics across freight, inventory, procurement and finance on a single data model. Track service, cost and risk as they move; forecast demand and ETAs; and act on exceptions before they become delays. Built on WHIZCargo and WHIZERP, powered by WHIZAI.
What is supply chain analytics?
Supply chain analytics turns the data your operation already produces — orders, shipments, inventory, suppliers, costs and ETAs — into decisions. It spans descriptive (what happened), diagnostic (why), predictive (what is likely next) and prescriptive (what to do) analytics, replacing month-end spreadsheets with a live picture of cost, service and risk across the whole chain.
WHIZTEC delivers it on the same data model that runs your operations — so on-time delivery, landed cost, dwell time, inventory turns and supplier performance are correct out of the box and update in real time, augmented by WHIZAI for forecasting and exception detection.
For everyone who owns a number.
Four layers of analytics, one platform.
Most tools stop at charts. WHIZTEC carries the data all the way to the action.
A dashboard is only as good as the data underneath it.
Generic BI tools chart whatever you feed them, but you have to model the logistics yourself — what a shipment, a Bill of Lading or a trade lane means. WHIZTEC analytics is built on the same model that runs WHIZCargo and WHIZERP, so the numbers are correct and live. Where SAP or Oracle hold the system of record, WHIZAI connects through APIs and EDI to fill in the picture.
- On-time delivery, transit, dwell and landed cost — pre-built, not re-modelled
- Real-time updates, not overnight data-warehouse exports
- Role-based access — each user sees only what their role permits
- Connects SAP, Oracle and Dynamics where they remain the system of record
Analytics that act, not just report.
WHIZAI forecasts demand by SKU and lane, predicts ETAs and flags at-risk shipments, anticipates stock-outs and overstock, and models the cost impact of carrier, route and supplier choices — surfacing the exception to the right person instead of waiting to be found in a report. Explore WHIZAI →
Supply chain analytics questions
What is supply chain analytics?
Supply chain analytics is the practice of turning the data your operation already produces — orders, shipments, inventory, suppliers, costs and ETAs — into decisions. It spans descriptive analytics (what happened), diagnostic (why), predictive (what is likely to happen next) and prescriptive (what to do about it). Done well, it replaces month-end spreadsheets and gut feel with a live picture of cost, service and risk across the whole chain.
How is this different from a BI dashboard or Power BI?
A generic BI tool can chart any data you feed it, but it does not understand a Bill of Lading, a purchase order, a container movement or a trade lane — you have to model all of that yourself. WHIZTEC supply chain analytics is built on the same data model that runs your operations in WHIZCargo and WHIZERP, so the metrics — on-time delivery, landed cost, dwell time, inventory turns, supplier performance — are correct out of the box and update in real time, not on an overnight export.
Do we need all our data in WHIZTEC for analytics to work?
No. Where WHIZCargo or WHIZERP run the operation, analytics is native. Where systems of record such as SAP or Oracle hold part of the picture, WHIZAI connects through APIs and EDI to bring that data into the same model — so you get one view across freight, inventory, procurement and finance without ripping anything out.
What can the predictive and AI features actually forecast?
WHIZAI forecasts demand by SKU and trade lane, predicts shipment ETAs and flags at-risk consignments before they are late, anticipates inventory stock-outs and overstock, and models the cost impact of carrier, route or supplier choices. It surfaces the exception to the right person rather than waiting for someone to find it in a report.
Is our operational and commercial data kept secure?
Yes. Analytics runs inside your WHIZTEC deployment with role-based access, so users see only the data their role permits. WHIZAI processes your operational data to produce insight for you — your data is not pooled with other customers or used to train shared models. Each client runs on a dedicated, isolated deployment.
How quickly can we see value?
Because the metrics are pre-built on the WHIZTEC data model, dashboards for service, cost and inventory are available as soon as your data is connected — typically in the first phase of a rollout — rather than after months of data-warehouse modelling.
