INDUSTRIES WE SERVE

Every echelon of the supply chain. One platform.

The companies that own the cargo, the providers that move it, the carriers that ship it, the terminals it passes through, and the vessels and yards behind it all — WHIZTEC runs each of them on software built for its operating cycle, sharing one data model end to end. No other vendor covers the whole chain.

THE FULL-CHAIN ADVANTAGE

Where others stop, the chain keeps going.

Specialist vendors serve one echelon. WHIZTEC's four platforms run all five — on one data model, so a group's every business shares one customer record and one ledger.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Industry coverage, answered.

Which industries does WHIZTEC serve?
WHIZTEC serves every echelon of the global supply chain: cargo owners (trading, distribution, manufacturing, e-commerce), logistics providers (freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PL and warehousing), shipping companies (regional lines, NVOCC, feeder operators, liner agencies and port agents), port-side operators (terminals, ICDs, CFS and container depots) and maritime asset operators (ship owners, third-party ship managers and shipyards) — eleven deep verticals across five echelons.
Does WHIZTEC build one generic product for all industries?
No. Each vertical runs on the platform that matches its operating model — WHIZCargo for cargo-side and port-side businesses, WHIZMarine for vessel-side businesses, WHIZERP for cargo owners — and every deployment is configured to the customer's own workflows, documents, billing rules and country compliance. The industry pages describe the module set each vertical typically uses.
Can one company use WHIZTEC across multiple verticals?
Yes — that is common, especially in the Gulf and Indian subcontinent where a single group may run a liner agency, an NVOCC, a container depot, a clearance arm and a 3PL warehouse. All of them operate on one platform with one customer master, one multi-currency ledger and consolidated group reporting. Cross-vertical groups are exactly where a single data model pays off most.
Is there really no competitor covering all these echelons?
Each echelon has strong specialists — freight platforms for forwarders, maritime suites for owners and managers, terminal systems for ports, generic ERP for cargo owners. What is genuinely rare is one vendor running all of them on one data model, so a group's forwarding arm, agency desk, depot and trading business share one customer record and one ledger. That is WHIZTEC's position after 25 years of building along the whole chain.
How industry-specific is the implementation?
Very. Implementations start from the vertical's reference workflows (e.g., a shipyard's enquiry-to-invoice cycle, a depot's gate-to-invoice chain, or a forwarder's quote-to-manifest flow) and are then configured to the company's own rate structures, approval chains, documents and integrations. Typical go-lives run 8-16 weeks depending on scope.
