AD Code Registration
AD Code (Authorised Dealer Code) registration is the process of registering the 14-digit code provided by an exporter's bank at each port or ICEGATE location from which the exporter ships. The AD Code links the exporter's Shipping Bills to their bank account, enabling the realisation of export proceeds and the crediting of incentives such as duty drawback and RoDTEP.
Without AD Code registration at a given port, an exporter cannot generate a Shipping Bill there. Registration is a one-time, port-specific step, so exporters shipping through multiple gateways must register their AD Code at each.
AD Code registration is the quiet prerequisite that trips up new exporters: no AD Code at the port means no Shipping Bill, no shipment, and no way for incentives and payment to flow back. Getting it registered at every port you use, before you need it, keeps exports moving.
Where do I get an AD Code?
From your bank (the authorised dealer). You then register it at each port/ICEGATE location from which you export.

Yes — it must be registered at each port from which you file Shipping Bills.
