Port of Vancouver
The Port of Vancouver is Canada's largest and busiest port and its principal Pacific gateway, on the country's west coast in British Columbia. It handles the widest range of cargo of any North American port — containers, grain and other dry bulk, coal, potash, forest products, and liquid bulk — and is Canada's primary link for trade with Asia.
Managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, it connects to the interior and the rest of Canada (and the US Midwest) by an extensive rail network, making it central to Canada's import gateway and commodity-export role.
